If I can't get my shopping done today I'll have to wait
till Monday. What do I do?
It's a bad day for shopping anyway. Just before the holiday, the stores will be crowded.
I don't like crowds.
If it rains my ex can't drive his car because his windshield
wipers don't work.
He went to the garage but as usual, they told him he
would have to wait till they ordered the part they needed.
If I tell him to come pick me up and it rains I'll be chewed
out.
I feel like cancelling the whole thing and wait till Monday.
But then, nothing gets done.
The weather forecast is unpredictable.
It may rain or not this morning. It will rain later on in
the afternoon but when?
What do I decide to do?
Another bad night. I woke up from a dream and I felt
so stuffy. The air in the Lake House is not good.
I put on the air-conditioning, called Tipsoo to come lie
down next to me and took some Rescue Remedy.
Good thing I slept till 5am.
Out we went, all three of us. lol
Now Tipsoo and Cinette-Rose are sleeping again.
By Monday, the windshield wipers should be fixed.
But will it be too hot and humid to be in the car?
Will something else break down?
My dental appointment is on July 8.
His car goes in for major repair on July 13.
It may be in the garage for a week...
I hope Art answers his phone when I call him this
morning around 7 o'clock.
I got one of those pamphlets the other day.
It lists the dangers of propane gas.
We have two propane gas tanks in the back of the
Lake House.
It's not cheap to fill them up when they're empty.
I don't like using gas. In spite of having a stuffy nose
most of the time, I have a keen sense of smell.
I can smell odors before most other people can.
If I smell gas my antenna's go up immediately.
The problem is if you call the propane gas people to
come check things out to make sure there's nothing
wrong, they will charge you for it.
I dont think that is fair.
Whether they find something wrong or not, this should
be a FREE SERVICE call.
On one page of the pamphlet they have a small scratch
pad. You scratch it and it smells just like gas.
There is no mistaking the smell of gas.
I've heard of lightning stricking an outdoor propane gas
tank more than once and I hope it doesn't happen here.
Not while I'm living here...
When I light the cooking stove, I hold my breath and
turn my head away. Inhaling that stuff is poison.
It amazes me that humanity is still so primitive in so
many ways.
In my world, every building would be GREEN by now.
Every vehicle on the road would be electric.
Every war would be just a memory and every country
would be free of weapons of mass destruction.
Nuclear Power would be buried for good.
In my world, we would be living in peace and people
wouldn't be dying of degenerate diseases.
Cancer would be a rarity and people would live with
principles and they would be stewards of the Earth.
What a nice place that would be! My World! :)
Namaste,
